Simple Syrup substitutes

The closest substitute for Simple Syrup is Sugar, which works but the drink will taste a little different. 1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved. Honey Syrup, Agave Syrup and Maple Syrup also work. In a pinch, use Vanilla Syrup.
