Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Stir the red wine, brandy, pulp-free orange juice, lemon juice and simple syrup together.

  3. Do not add ice to the machine.
  4. Serve in wine glasses, adding any fresh fruit only to the glasses.

About the Sangria Slush

Sangria brings wine and fruit together in a batch drink. This frozen version uses strained citrus juices in place of fruit pieces so the mixture can circulate through a slushie machine.

Missing something?

  • No Brandy? Use Cognac
  • No Brandy? Use Pisco (Unaged and more floral)
  • No Orange Juice? Use Orange (Squeeze fresh: 1 orange gives about 70 ml)
  • No Orange Juice? Use Blood Orange Juice (Berry-like and deep red)
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Rich Simple Syrup (More concentrated, so use less)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Sugar (1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved)

All swaps for Brandy, Orange Juice, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup
