Ingredients
- Dark Rum60ml2 oz
- White Rum30ml1 oz
- Passion Fruit Purée60ml2 oz
- Lime Juice30ml1 oz
- Simple Syrup30ml1 oz
How to make it
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into hurricane glass filled with ice.

- No dark rum? Use Aged Rum (Lighter, less molasses)
- No dark rum? Use Gold Rum (Lighter, less molasses)
- No white rum? Use Gold Rum (A little richer)
- No white rum? Use Cachaça (Grassier and funkier)
- No passion fruit purée? Use Passionfruit Puree
- No passion fruit purée? Use Passion Fruit (The pulp of 1 fruit is about 15 ml)
- No lime juice? Use Lime (Squeeze fresh: 1 lime gives about 25 ml)
- No lime juice? Use Lemon Juice (Softer, different aroma)
- No simple syrup? Use Sugar (1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved)
- No simple syrup? Use Honey Syrup (Adds honey flavour)
