How to make it

  1. Shake all ingredients briefly with ice.

Tip: Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds, until the tin is frosty.

About the Zero-Proof Mai Tai

This follows Lyre's own Mai Tai recipe using White Cane, Dark Cane and Orange Sec alternatives. The almond syrup and lime preserve the tropical drink's structure, with sweetness balanced for the alcohol-free bottles.

Missing something?

  • No Non-Alcoholic White Rum? Use Non-Alcoholic Dark Rum (Adds darker caramel and spice to the drink)
  • No Non-Alcoholic Dark Rum? Use Non-Alcoholic White Rum (A lighter cane profile; loses the dark caramel and warm spice)
  • No Lime Juice? Use Lime (Squeeze fresh: 1 lime gives about 25 ml)
  • No Lime Juice? Use Lemon Juice (Softer, different aroma)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Rich Simple Syrup (More concentrated, so use less)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Sugar (1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved)

All swaps for Lime Juice and Simple Syrup
