Cocktails with Non-Alcoholic Orange Liqueur
A sweet orange modifier for alcohol-free Margaritas, Cosmopolitans and Sidecars. It adds orange peel, sweetness and a slight bitterness; syrups are sweeter than spirit-style bottles, so reduce other sugar. Lyre's: refrigerate once opened, best within 12 weeks.

History
Triple sec means 'triple dry'. The French liqueur house Giffard (Angers, since 1885) and the syrup maker Monin both sell alcohol-free triple secs next to their liqueurs and syrups.
How it’s made
Giffard macerates bitter and sweet orange peel in white wine vinegar, a shrub technique that gives the acidity and bite alcohol would, and has about 30 g sugar per 100 ml. Monin's is a sugar syrup flavoured with bitter and sweet orange peel, and Lyre's builds its version from extracts and natural flavours.
