Planter's Punch

Ingredients
- Dark Rum45ml1½ oz
- Lime Juice35ml1¼ oz
- Simple Syrup10ml⅓ oz
- Angostura Bitters3 dashes
How to make it
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with cherry and pineapple.

The recipe follows the old rhyme: one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak.
Missing something?
- No dark rum? Use Aged Rum (Lighter, less molasses)
- No dark rum? Use Gold Rum (Lighter, less molasses)
- No lime juice? Use Lime (Squeeze fresh: 1 lime gives about 25 ml)
- No lime juice? Use Lemon Juice (Softer, different aroma)
- No simple syrup? Use Sugar (1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved)
- No simple syrup? Use Honey Syrup (Adds honey flavour)
- No angostura bitters? Use Peychaud's Bitters (Lighter, with more anise)
