Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Stir the vodka, blue curaçao, lemon juice, simple syrup and water together, then add the lemonade slowly.
  2. Pour into the slushie machine and run its alcoholic preset (the batch card shows which one) until the slush is ready.
  3. Serve in highball glasses with a lemon wheel.

About the Blue Lagoon Slush

The Blue Lagoon is usually credited to Andy MacElhone at Harry's New York Bar in Paris in the 1960s.

Missing something?

  • No Vodka? Use Citrus Vodka (Adds a lemon note)
  • No Blue Curaçao? Use Triple Sec (Same flavour, no blue colour)
  • No Blue Curaçao? Use Grand Marnier (Richer, no blue colour)
  • No Lemonade? Use Lemon Soda
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Sugar (1 tsp sugar is about 7.5 ml syrup; stir until dissolved)
  • No Simple Syrup? Use Honey Syrup (Adds honey flavour)

All swaps for Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Lemonade, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup
