Lava Flow
The Lava Flow is a tropical, fruity tiki cocktail made with Malibu Coconut Rum, White Rum, Banana, Pineapple Juice and more. It is frozen and served in a hurricane glass, about 4% ABV.

Ingredients
- 30mlMalibu Coconut Rum
- 30mlWhite Rum
- 1/2Banana
- 60mlPineapple Juice
- 60mlCoconut Cream
- 60g slicedStrawberries
How to make it
- Blend the frozen strawberry slices with both rums until smooth and pour into the bottom of a hurricane glass.
- Rinse the blender, then blend the banana, pineapple juice and sweetened coconut cream with 150g ice until smooth.
- Slowly pour the coconut mixture into the center of the strawberry mixture so the red layer swirls through it.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
- Makes about 450ml.
Tip: Blend in short bursts and stop as soon as it is smooth, so it stays thick.
About the Lava Flow
A Hawaiian resort favorite that gives a Piña Colada a strawberry swirl. The red fruit flowing through the pale coconut mixture is the lava effect that gives the drink its name.
