Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  3. Express two orange twists over the drink and discard them, then garnish with a third.

Tip: Stir with plenty of cold, hard ice for 20 to 30 seconds. You want it chilled and silky, not cloudy.

About the Eeyore's Requiem

Toby Maloney created it at The Violet Hour in Chicago as a dark, upside-down Negroni with Campari as the base and gin only as an accent. He named it after Eeyore, whom he called the most bitter character in literature.
