Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Stir the bourbon, apple juice, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and water together, chill if you can, then pour into the slushie machine and run its alcoholic preset (the batch card shows which one) until the slush is ready.
  2. Serve in rocks glasses with a thin apple slice and a pinch of ground cinnamon.

About the Spiced Apple Slush

Apple, cinnamon and bourbon is the classic autumn pairing behind spiked cider. Here it is frozen instead of heated, with lemon to keep the sweet apple from turning flat.

Missing something?

  • No Bourbon? Use Jim Beam Bourbon (Jim Beam is a bourbon)
  • No Bourbon? Use Jack Daniels (Tennessee whiskey is made much like bourbon)
  • No Cinnamon Syrup? Use Pumpkin Spice Syrup (Cinnamon-led, with extra pumpkin and nutmeg)
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
  • No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)

All swaps for Bourbon, Cinnamon Syrup and Lemon Juice
