About the Slope
Julie Reiner's Manhattan riff, named after Brooklyn's Park Slope neighbourhood. Punt e Mes takes the place of sweet vermouth and a little apricot liqueur rounds off its bitterness.
Missing something?
- No Rye Whiskey? Use Bourbon (Softer and sweeter than rye's spice)
- No Rye Whiskey? Use Jim Beam Bourbon (A bourbon: softer and sweeter than rye)
- No Punt e Mes? Use Sweet Vermouth (Less bitter; add a dash of Angostura)
- No Apricot Brandy? Use Peach Schnapps (Thinner and sweeter)
- No Apricot Brandy? Use Peach Brandy (Peach instead of apricot)
- No Angostura Bitters? Use Peychaud's Bitters (Lighter, with more anise)
All swaps for Rye Whiskey, Apricot Brandy and Angostura Bitters
