Ingredients
- 15mlGrenadine
- 15mlGreen Crème de Menthe
- 15mlTequila
How to make it
- Pour the grenadine into a shot glass.
- Slowly float the green crème de menthe on top over the back of a bar spoon, then float the tequila on top of that.
Tip: Pour each layer slowly over the back of a bar spoon, heaviest first.
About the Mexican Flag
The red, green and clear layers stand in for the colours of the Mexican flag, which makes it a Cinco de Mayo regular. Some versions use melon liqueur for the green layer.

- No Grenadine? Use Raspberry Syrup (Berry instead of pomegranate)
- No Green Crème de Menthe? Use White Crème de Menthe (Same flavour, clear)
