How to make it

  1. Pour the green crème de menthe into a shot glass.
  2. Float the Irish cream on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a bar spoon, then float the Grand Marnier on top of that.

Tip: Pour each layer slowly over the back of a bar spoon, heaviest first.

About the Irish Flag

The green, white and orange layers copy the Irish tricolour, which makes it a St Patrick's Day favourite.

Missing something?

  • No Green Crème de Menthe? Use White Crème de Menthe (Same flavour, clear)
  • No Baileys Irish Cream? Use RumChata (Rum, cinnamon and vanilla instead of whiskey and cocoa; avoid acidic mixtures)
  • No Grand Marnier? Use Triple Sec (Lighter and brighter)

All swaps for Baileys Irish Cream and Grand Marnier
