Ingredients
- 60mlTequila
- 20mlLime Juice
- 12.5mlGrenadine
- 2 dashesAngostura Bitters
How to make it
- Shake the tequila, lime juice, grenadine and bitters hard with ice.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange slice, a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
Tip: Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds, until the tin is frosty.
About the Mexican Firing Squad
Charles H. Baker Jr. recorded it in The Gentleman's Companion (1939), crediting La Cucaracha bar in Mexico City, where he drank it in 1937.
