Ingredients
- Bourbon60ml2 oz
- Lime Juice15ml½ oz
- Ginger Beer120ml4 oz
How to make it
Fill a copper mug with ice, add the bourbon and lime juice, top with ginger beer and stir gently. Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of mint.
About the Kentucky Mule
A bourbon version of the Moscow Mule. Bourbon's caramel and vanilla notes round out the spicy ginger beer.

- No bourbon? Use Jack Daniels (Tennessee whiskey is made much like bourbon)
- No lime juice? Use Lime (Squeeze fresh: 1 lime gives about 25 ml)
- No lime juice? Use Lemon Juice (Softer, different aroma)
- No ginger beer? Use Ginger Ale (Milder and sweeter)
