How to make it
- Fill a highball glass with ice, add the Scotch and lime juice, top with ginger beer and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
Tip: Fill the glass right to the top with ice so the drink stays cold without watering down fast.

A turn-of-the-century craze named after the Broadway singer Mamie Taylor. The popular story says she was served it in 1899 near Lake Ontario after asking for something long and cold.
