About the Corpse Reviver No. 4
Adapted from a 2019 recipe by Måns Dahlman of Papillon Bar in Stockholm. It swaps the gin in the Corpse Reviver No. 2 for reposado tequila and is stirred rather than shaken.
Missing something?
- No Tequila Reposado? Use Tequila (Brighter, less oak)
- No Tequila Reposado? Use Tequila Añejo (More oak)
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Cocchi Americano (Closest to the original Kina Lillet)
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Bianco Vermouth
- No Triple Sec? Use Grand Marnier (Richer and cognac-based, with less bright orange)
- No Triple Sec? Use Blue Curaçao (Same flavour, but turns the drink blue)
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)
- No Rich Simple Syrup? Use Simple Syrup (Less concentrated, so use a little more)
- No Rich Simple Syrup? Use Demerara Syrup (Usually made 1:1 with a toffee note, so use a little more)
All swaps for Tequila Reposado, Lillet Blanc, Triple Sec, Lemon Juice and Rich Simple Syrup
