About the Corpse Reviver No. Blue
New Zealand bartender Jacob Briars created it in 2007 as a cheeky blue take on the Corpse Reviver No. 2, swapping the orange liqueur for blue curaçao. It tastes much like the original; only the colour is ghoulish.
Missing something?
- No Gin? Use Old Tom Gin (Sweeter and rounder, so cut the syrup a little)
- No Gin? Use Genever (Maltier and rounder)
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Cocchi Americano (Closest to the original Kina Lillet)
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Bianco Vermouth
- No Blue Curaçao? Use Triple Sec (Same flavour, no blue colour)
- No Blue Curaçao? Use Grand Marnier (Richer, no blue colour)
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)
All swaps for Gin, Lillet Blanc, Blue Curaçao and Lemon Juice
