About the Necromancer
Mayur Subbarao created it at Louro in New York's West Village as a riff on the Corpse Reviver No. 2. Gin and absinthe swap places, so absinthe is the base and gin is only a dash, and elderflower liqueur stands in for the orange liqueur.
Missing something?
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Cocchi Americano (Closest to the original Kina Lillet)
- No Lillet Blanc? Use Bianco Vermouth
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lemon (Squeeze fresh: 1 lemon gives about 30 ml)
- No Lemon Juice? Use Lime Juice (Sharper, different aroma)
- No Gin? Use Old Tom Gin (Sweeter and rounder, so cut the syrup a little)
- No Gin? Use Genever (Maltier and rounder)
All swaps for Lillet Blanc, Lemon Juice and Gin
