Ingredients
- RinseAbsinthe
- 45mlAged Rum
- 30mlOverproof Rum
- 15mlLime Juice
- 15mlGrapefruit Juice
- 15mlFalernum
- 15mlCinnamon Syrup
- 1 dashAngostura Bitters
How to make it
- Rinse a chilled coupe with absinthe and discard the excess.
- Shake the remaining ingredients hard with ice and fine-strain into the coupe.
- Garnish with intertwined lime and grapefruit twists.
Tip: Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds, until the tin is frosty.
About the Undead Gentleman
Martin Cate created this served-up take on the Zombie at Smuggler's Cove in San Francisco. It uses two rums and a chilled coupe in place of the Zombie's tall glass of crushed ice.
