Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Pour the Irish cream, amaretto and cinnamon schnapps into a shot glass and stir briefly.
  2. For a party, top each shot with a small swirl of whipped cream and a pinch of ground cinnamon.

Tip: Fill the glass right to the top with ice so the drink stays cold without watering down fast.

About the Pumpkin Pie

There is no pumpkin in it: Irish cream, almond liqueur and cinnamon schnapps together mimic the spiced, creamy taste of pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Recipes vary, but Irish cream and cinnamon schnapps are in nearly all of them.

Missing something?

  • No Baileys Irish Cream? Use RumChata (Rum, cinnamon and vanilla instead of whiskey and cocoa; avoid acidic mixtures)
  • No Amaretto? Use Frangelico (Hazelnut instead of almond)
  • No Goldschläger? Use Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey (Cinnamon too, whisky-based, no gold flakes)
