Ingredients
- Vodka45ml1½ oz
- Grapefruit Juice120ml4 oz
How to make it
Fill a highball glass with ice, add the vodka and grapefruit juice and stir. Serve without a salt rim; with one it becomes a Salty Dog.
About the Greyhound
Started life as a gin and grapefruit 'Grapefruit Cocktail' in the 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book. It was first called the Greyhound in a 1945 Harper's Magazine article, and vodka replaced gin after the Second World War.
