History

Launched in 1946 by the Zamora family in Cartagena, Spain. The name refers to the 43 ingredients said to go into the recipe, and the family-owned company still keeps the formula secret.

How it’s made

Citrus fruits, herbs and spices are macerated separately in alcohol, then blended with vanilla and sugar.
